To Be Born-again: 6 Practical Signs Of Repentance

How do you know if you’re on the path of repentance? What does the penitent life look like? How can you tell if someone you love is really changing? People who are serious about change tend to display similar behaviors that let you know they are on the right track. Here are a few signs you’ll find in a truly repentant person: Repentant people are willing to confess all their sins, not just the sins that got them in trouble.  A house isn’t clean until you open every closet and sweep every corner. People who truly desire to be clean are completely honest about their lives. No more secrets. Repentant people face the pain that their sin caused others.  They invite the victims of their sin (anyone hurt by their actions) to express the intensity of emotions that they feel—anger, hurt, sorrow, and disappointment. Repentant people do not give excuses or shift blame. They made the choice to hurt others, and they must take full responsibility for their behavior. Repentant people ask for...

Turkey's President warns Russia not to 'play with fire'

Image
Turkish protesters shouted slogans against Russia during a demonstration after Friday prayers in Istanbul [Omer Kuscu/AP] President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned Russia not to "play with fire" after reports emerged that Turkish businessmen had been detained in Russia. Moscow said it would suspend visa-free travel with Turkey, and its tourism agency head announced on Friday it will ask more than 9,000 Russians currently in Turkey to return home by the end of December. Relations between the former Cold War antagonists are at their lowest in recent memory after Turkey shot down a Russian fighter jet near the Syrian border on Tuesday. The pilot was machine-gunned dead by rebels on the ground in Syria as he parachuted down. Russia has threatened economic retaliation - a response Erdogan has dismissed as emotional and indecorous. "It is playing with fire to go as far as  mistreating our citizens  who have gone to Russia," Erdogan told supporters during a s...

Former police officer accused of shootout hoax found dead

Image
A former part-time Massachusetts police officer accused of shooting up his own patrol cruiser and calling in a hoax bomb threat has died after apparently committing suicide. Bryan Johnson, 24, was found dead early Thanksgiving morning in his Millis, Mass. home, the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office said. Prosecutors said there were no signs of foul play and his death is not considered suspicious. Johnson faced six charges stemming from a Sept. 2, 2015, incident in which he said he was attacked by a gunman who shot up his cruiser and fled. Johnson’s cruiser was found crashed into a tree and on fire, and authorities launched a massive search to find the reported gunman. But within hours, police decided it was all a hoax, as was a bomb threat called into a local school. Johnson, who was fired, was free pending a future court appearance. A grand jury indicted him Nov. 19 and he was on home confinement monitored by a GPS device, according to court records. According to prosecutors, J...

God's gift to women

Virginity is a precious and priceless gift treasured by every lady that knows its worth. Its a treasure created specially by God to be given to your life time partner in marriage, the most important person in your life, the person you committed yourself to stay with forever in marriage. Virginity is the most precious thing you have to keep and keep to the rightful owner ( your spouse). Its not something you should give away away just like that. Once you lose it,nothing in the world can bring it back. Don't loose something so precious in a thoughless way. There is always this blessing in marriages that the lady waited till marriage before loosing her virginity to the spouse. Breaking a girl's virginity is taking an oath/ blood convenant between the 2 partners indicating they should stick together forever. God is not foolish to say sex should be for only married couples. He knws y he did it that way nd he created us to follow dat plan,in which failure to do so is abnormal use...

Message for Ladies!

‪#‎ STRICTLY‬  FOR THE LADIES -Guy's Don't Read This! If someone is not willing to put a ring on your finger or marry you,DON'T give them the benefits of marriage. If they think that you are good enough to sleep with, let them first make God smile by thinking that you are good enough to marry first. Do not let someone make you sin by making you a mother when they are not willing to make you a wife. Guys being the first cut won't make her stay with u forever and Girls having his  baby won't make him stay with you either. If I can read a magazine for free, what is the purpose of buying it? That's why some magazines come with a seal, because  they know that you will really appreciate its value and pay the price first. Its time to seal off your life, even if you are no longer a virgin you can still bring back your value and let someone pay off the price first or else they will just read you and dump you for another one. This is one of the reason why  some people are n...

Dad demands abortion after surrogate learns she's having triplets

Image
A man who paid a surrogate to have his baby became overwhelmed when he learned she was having triplets and demanded the woman abort one of the fetuses while threatening her with financial ruin, she claims. “They are human beings. I bonded with these kids. This is just not right,” mom-to-be Melissa Cook told The Post on Tuesday. Cook’s heart-wrenching dilemma comes as Gov. of New York, Andrew Cuomo and state lawmakers are weighing whether New York should lift its ban on commercial surrogacy, which was enacted in 1993. The babies’ dad, a Georgia man, hired Cook for $33,000 to have a child by in-vitro fertilization using his sperm and the eggs of a 20-year-old donor. The California woman was implanted with three embryos, which defied the odds to all go on to develop normally. Cook, 47, said she and the man learned she was having triplets when the embryos were around 8 or 9 weeks. He almost immediately began to raise concerns, and they have grown increasingly threatening, she said. Co...

Technology company reveal way to bring you back after death

Image
A technology company says it's working on a project which would allow a human's consciousness to be transferred to an artificial body after their death. In what sounds like a plot from a science fiction blockbuster, tech company Humai are working on human resurrection through artificial intelligence. They're hopeful that the technology - bionics, nanotechnology and artificial intelligence - will be ready in just three decades. Creating an imprint of people to remain after they go , Humai is using artificial intelligence and nanotechnology to store data of conversational styles, behavioral patterns, thought processes and information about how bodies function. This data will be coded into multiple sensor technologies, which will be built into an artificial body with the brain of a deceased human. The science as they explain it means using cloning technology, they will be able to restore the brain as it matures. Their website explains: "Humai is an AI company with...

Woman shocked when she receive a bill of $1.4 trillion from her bank

Image
Imagine opening your account and finding a bill for $1.4 trillion. Thankfully, Angela Kwong knew the bank had made an error on her account, or at least she hoped they would see it that way. The woman from Oahu, Hawaii, said it was lucky she checked her bank account when she did, or else she would have been dealing with an outstanding balance that would keep several countries going for a bit. Angela said she was shocked when she logged into her bank account statement Tuesday morning only to find an outstanding balance of $710 billion - twice. Local news station KHON2 say she immediately got in touch with her bank. She told the station: “I was shocked, and I couldn’t believe it. The first time I saw it, I had to go to my bathroom and get my glasses on to make sure it wasn’t just because of my bad eyes.” The news station said the bank initially told her their hands were tied. Angela said: “I called the customer service line and they said their system was down and my number ...
