DAMILARE ADELEYE MOURNS THE DEATH OF GOVERNOR OLUWAROTIMI AKEREDOLU

I received with a heavy heart the exit of Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, CON, the Executive Governor of Ondo State.


I am indeed saddened by the news of his demise which has thrown all citizens into a mourning state. 


The effect of the exit of a peace-loving governor Akeredolu to the great beyond is indeed a huge blow on our faces and also a rude shock.


His humility, bravery, coupled with his unwavering stance in interest of his people especially for putting their security and wellbeing at heart endeared him to many. 


His valuable contributions to the development of the state in terms of regional security, ondo seaport, creation of LCDAs and strategic policies made him the Mr. Talk and Do Governor. Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu lived a good life, fought a good fight, and will forever be remembered for the impactful, fulfilled though short life he lived.


In this challenging time, may God give the family of our dear Governor and the state as a whole the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. As we pray that the departed intelligent, brave and courageous yet gentle soul of our governor rest in perfect peace.
