DEJI OF AKURE APPOINTS NEW IRALEPO OF ISINKAN

  The Deji & the Paramount Ruler of Akure Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II, CFR has formally presented certificate to High Chief Gbenga Henry Adeyeye as the new Iralepo of Isikan Quarters, Akure. The Deji had officially removed the former Iralepo of Isikan, Mr. Gbenga Ojo. In a letter personally signed by the Deji of Akure Land which partly stated that “Sequel to the judgment of the court of Appeal in a suit No: CA/AK/69/2022, I hereby write to notify you of your removal as Chief Iralepo of Isikan Quarters in Akure with immediate effect. The letter reads further that Mr. Gbenga Ojo is requested to vacate the traditional palace of the Iralepo of Isikan with immediate effect as the new Quarter Chief of Isikan shall be resuming to the palace very soon.   People came from far and near, dignitaries round the globe assemble at Ikere to bid farewell to late Mama Florence Wuraola Owoyemi and celebrate with the children of Mama for life and times of their Mother, who died at 86. In a statement signed by the UACC Media Director, Paul Erakhifu, who was at Ikere for the burial. Late Mama Florence Wuraola Owpyemi died on 12th August, 2024. She lived a fulfilled life as a devoted Christian. She did all she could to propage the gospel and the work of God. Mama, who was fondly called United, never held any position in the church, but that did not stop her from investing her resources to promote God's work and assist the needy in the church. In 1965 she sang a song tilted ' United Kekere' meaning 'Small United' in that song she unknown prophesy the future of United Apostolic Church of Christ, that one day the church be famous, bigger and spread all over the world.   The Supreme Executive Council of United Apostolic Church of Christ Worldwide will hold its annual meeting, which is the 59th edition between Friday, August 16th, and Sunday, August 18th, 2024 at the General headquarters of the church situated at No 5, Tesi Street, off Olowojeunjeje, Ajegunle, Apapa, Lagos.  In a statement released to the public by the Media Director of UACC, Pastor Paul I.   The Trustees of United Apostolic Church of Christ will be meeting between June 14 and 16th, 2024. The meeting of the board of trustees is the highest decision-making platform of the church.  The annual meeting which will be presided over by the President and General Overseer of the church, who is also the chairman, board of Trustees, Rev Dr James Bayo OWOYEMI will hold at the Trustees' seat of the church situated at Ikere Ekiti in Ekiti State of Nigeria.  The 3-day meeting will also witness fatherly blessings, sermons, and revival for people in the area.   I received with a heavy heart the exit of Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, CON, the Executive Governor of Ondo State. I am indeed saddened by the news of his demise which has thrown all citizens into a mourning state.  The effect of the exit of a peace-loving governor Akeredolu to the great beyond is indeed a huge blow on our faces and also a rude shock. His humility, bravery, coupled with his unwavering stance in interest of his people especially for putting their security and wellbeing at heart endeared him to many.  His valuable contributions to the development of the state in terms of regional security, ondo seaport, creation of LCDAs and strategic policies made him the Mr. Talk and Do Governor.
